Getting to Café Liebling
from Schönefeld
A taxi ride from there is quite expensive and there are trains directly at the station.
If you are arriving from Schönefeld, it is best to use public transportation. The best connection (S9) only runs about every half hour. There are other connection, but they require more transfers.
You need to get to Prenzlauer Allee S-Bahn station on the Ring line. If you take the S9, in the direction S+U Pankow until you reach Prenzlauer Allee. From there you walk towards Helmholzplatz where Liebling is.
from Tegel
A taxi will run around 18 - 20 EUR. Public transportation is also a good option. If you take the TXL bus to Beusselstr. S-Bahn (Ring) and then take the train heading in the clockwise direction (S41) until you reach Prenzlauer Allee. From there you walk towards Helmholzplatz where Liebling is.
from Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof)
Take any S-Bahn going east towards Alexanderplatz. Once you get to Alexanderplatz, find the M2 Tram. Take it to Fröbelstraße, which takes about 15 minutes. As soon as you get off the tram, walk along the platform in the opposite direct in which you rode. As soon as you get to the crossing, walk across the tracks which takes you to Raumer Straße. Walk 2 blocks and Café Liebling is on the corner with Duncker Straße.
